Nah, I just like the girl, was hoping she would be the female MC like Shenyi Jiu XIaojie, even though I know the guy is the MC
I couldnt really get into the novel, cause it was vastly different to the donghua and the martial arts terminologies, stance, moves and philosophical background was overwhelming

In all honesty that is probably what drew me to this story even more when watching it as they go into more detail about the martial arts terminologies than just a basic glossing of the moves. As for the female teacher, she seems good at teaching and she does show interest in him. She also looks nice, like they put a lot of effort into making her look good. Even though at 05:48 when you look over his shoulder at her watching him eat, you can see she has a lazy eye thats lower than the other. Also, the cheongsam dress? if you can call it that, it's a nice colour with the golden dragon.

Yes they invested a lot of resources in creating her model, pretty sure she will come back, or he will go look for her once he becomes stronger
And yeah the teasing is adorable, hint of flirting him now and then, and him flustering lol

A lot of viewers have expressed (on forums anyway) that they will probably dropp the series, but the creators of the series (and it is implied the author as well) have said not to worry since there are plenty of content to see the male mc grow and get into trouble also how he struggles since he doesnt have a job!! to keep the villa and we will be reminded by her presence, I took that as perhaps flashbacks (and I dont mean the use of previous assets because of their use of the word "actually") but it is my guess, so I might be wrong there and the photo she left behind as he gazes slowly upon it

I'm curious about that villa comment because I thought it was owned either by her or by the company that employs her.

The forums only mentioned that the maid hired to clean the villa and cook food had to be let go (wasnt show in the donghua yet) also there's the villa's maintenance fees that he couldnt afford, so he had to go out and look for a job (he probably starts a dojo, from what they are writing, he saves someone being bullied, a girl) So I guess another girl will keep the viewers interested? lol

I guess that depends on how much effort they put in to how the girl looks since they put so much effort into his crush, plus the girl's persona. If she's weak and feeble that might keep the viewers with a bit of a hero complex happy :P

There's no information about the new characters, only that they have a poster of each of them, and oh it is 4 females including the Muay Thai boxer I only found these pictures when I went to chineseanimeonline dot website (at the bottom)

But in the novel I can only find Huo Er'ling - from Hong Kong, a romantic interest, but Wang Chao declines her because of Tang Zichen, not sure about her martial arts style

Same with me. I am more interested because of the teaching and various martial arts terms and concepts. However, as a practitioner of Baguazhang, I got to say that was the only part that I was not really satisfied with. Sure Bagua has a major concentration on circle walking but they could at least have shown a nice looking form instead of just her running around the basin of water.
